BROADCAST JOURNALIST
Kaci Latimore is a Broadcast Journalist and has been a Lifestyle Host at WSET ABC 13's Living in the Heart of Virginia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina. She is the recipient of the Pinnacle Award for Statewide Election Coverage from Student Gamecock Television and an inductee of the USC Hall of Leaders. Kaci began her career as the Entertainment Director of Campus Student Media at USC and served in the positions of Entertainment Director and Gamecock Guide Storyteller for Student Gamecock Television. She was also a member of the production staff of the minor league baseball team, the Columbia Fireflies, as well as conducting post-game interviews with Big Shots Basketball.
In addition to these honors, Kaci Latimore is a 2024 Recipient of the Top 20 Under 40 award in Lynchburg Business Magazine. She also received the 2023 Young Professional to Watch from the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance for her involvement in the community and with clients, through her position at Living in the Heart of Virginia. Her portfolio contains a variety of high-profile interviews, her favorite being Mick Foley, WWE Allstar. Kaci is also responsible for launching the LHOV TikTok page, which features her original segment, "What's Happening in the Heart of Virginia." Kaci is known as an energetic, passionate, and joyous Lifestyle Host with "a passion to make people smile".
In her free time, you can find Kaci streaming on Twitch and sharing other lifestyle content on different social platforms. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and enjoys anime, animals, and the WWE. Her career objective is to secure a position in an optimistic environment that will provide opportunities for storytelling and high-energy broadcasting. Kaci Latimore is always willing to work and seeking new, fulfilling ways to utilize and expand her current skillset!
